Steps – Setting up Streaming Services in Firestick

STEP-1 – Install DOWNLOADER in Amazon Firestick -Note – This is NOT IPTV APP – We use Downloader to Install the streaming app – STB Emulator

STEP-2 – After completing installation of downloader , go to Firestick Settings —–MY FIRE TV—-Developer Options —–Install unknown Apps …You will see “Downloader” – Set this to ON

STEP-3 – Open the Downloader – STB Emulator is downloaded from the cloud – Enter the tiny.cc URL link given in the video in the Downloader URL field – Watch this step carefully and download and install STB Emulator

STEP-4 – Open the STB Emulator App Settings and create a PROFILE.

Profile set up has 3 Steps – Name , Portal Settings and STB Configuration

Profile name – enter any name of your choice

Portal Settings- This is the server address – Get this detail from the service you are buying and fill it in. It starts with http://…….

STB configuration – Follow the instructions in the Video and note the MAC address from your profile. This you need to send to your vendor to enable the streaming service.

STEP-5 – Make sure that “Profile” settings are saved – Keep hitting the return button until you are out of the settings screen and land on a Blue screen – wait for your service vendor to activate your Profile.

STB Emulator is a powerful and popular Media streaming App which simulates MAG series of boxes. With Firestick it is an economical option to run streaming services in Firestick with this Android App – Firestick has a powerful hardware supporting 4k resolution ( 4K Model ) and well known for it’s WiFi performance as well. With the integration of all other popular streaming services from Disney to Crave …this add on becomes a one platform solution for all streaming needs.

One limitation possibly if we can call it , is the limited keys on Remote – Which can be overcome by other means. Look forward to more videos on making this add on a more enjoyable experience.

Firestick can “learn” most Smart TV remotes and once done, TV remote can be used for working with the App for navigation, setting favorites , search etc.

We are installing STB Emulator Free version here – It is fully functional and literally no Ads …though they say Ads present. This version is Free and downloaded from Google Play store and does not contain ads.
